Sure, no problem. Sorry for the delayed response! I hope my insights would help.

Short Term Goal: Be promoted to Senior Manager at current company
Long Term Goal: Director of Digital Marketing at current company (or another)
Program of Choice: Part-Time at NYU Stern

FYI, I was waitlisted for Carnegie Mellon Tepper.

When I first learned of my acceptance to NYU Stern, I immediately made the deposit to secure my place because ultimately NYU Stern has always been my dream school. In my case, I live and work in the NY/NJ tristate area so my commute is definitely doable (less than a hour). I love exploring and learning about other countries' cultures, so the DBI program is really enticing to me. Since I learn best hands-on, the experimental learning opportunities also really stood out to me. Further, between in-person and online learning, I definitely prefer in-person; they say the connections you make with your peers are the most rewarding outcomes from an MBA program, so in my opinion, I'd like to develop those relationships more intimately.

With Carnegie Mellon Tepper, what I love about the school is the smaller community and the option to convert to full-time student. But at the end of the day, NYU Stern is my top choice, thus I jumped the gun without doubt.

Awesome man and thank you for sharing your thoughts. Yes I am also inclined towards Stern but just waiting to attend the Tepper Access Weekend and Part Time weekend on the 13th of this month, and then I will take the final call. As you said, the in-person classes is something that is driving me as well but it won't be that quick drive for me as I stay in Philly, so it will probably take 3 hours, an hour to Trenton and then about 2 hours to Manhattan, but I am all prepared for it. I would love to connect with my classmates, so we can probably meet some day before the classes begin

I can yet post links, but NYU issued a memo earlier today addressing COVID and fall semester classes. A few key points (1) fall classes are planned to resume in-person and close to regular capacity (2) COVID vaccination and proof of Vaccination will be required for attendance of on-campus classes (3) NYU understands the current challenges for international students and will work to the best of their abilities to facilitate cooperation with those who may not be able to immediately attend classes.
