I've looked at the stats on Businessweek at one point, and recall that interviews ranged from 39%-50%. I believe the former number reflected last year's surge.

Definitely. And I hate that part about "your decision will not be available until January 15." Makes me feel like they've already decided not to call me.

They call, right? Looks like last year the calls started a couple of days early. Ugh. Let's hope we all can avoid logging in at midnight...

Hi
I got an email saying I can check my app status by next friday. Does it mean it is a ding from Ross? Did this email go out to everyone? I am an R1 applicant.

I too almost fell out of my chair when I saw the e-mail...but I think this just refers to when the "official" decision will be available online. Per that Soojin blog, calls will start earlier in the week...

Are those of use who got the email already dinged? Why send an email saying I can check my status next Friday? No other school does that. Did anyone else get the email. Or is it the few of us who are......

Yeah, I got that email. Instead of the embarq site, I guess we have to log into this other site. Apparently, this site tracks all previous applications to Michigan. It even has my undergraduate application to Michigan listed from over 10 years ago!

Wow, that's cool/scary. I went to UM and got dinged by the Ross BBA program during my sophomore year. I wonder if the grad adcoms can access those prior submissions to see how you've developed as a candidate. I assume not but it'd certainly be interesting if they did.

I got a similar email from UNC but I was waitlisted. Got the Ross email and the wait continues.
