Relax people.. Ross calls you ahead of time, like for us it started on a wednesday when official announcement was at 9pm Saturday (12 midnight EST Sunday).
All the status change at the same time. WL/admit/Ding. There were several no interview WL last year too, where they wanted to schedule the interview in R3. I was an R2 Ding last year.
But yes, just worry about phone calls. The system won't send out early admits or dings like kellogg/CBS.
On the website is says that interviews do not affect your application process. Is that right? I thought that if you are not invited for an interview you are automatically out. Correct me if im wrong..
If one applies and doesn't get invited in that round, they could still get an invite in the next round. And I believe that every admitted applicant is interviewed.

That happened to some people last year. Talk to fatb about it. He did not get an interview to Ross during R2, but at the R2 deadline he was Waitlisted. I believe like a week or two later he got an interview invite.
May I ask why you are applying to Graziadio with a GMAT score of 760?

In for R2. By far the worst submission I made. Hope this one gets stuck to the back of a better candidate's app and accidentally thrown in the accept pile.
Hah, my undergrad GPA was a 2.9 (but with a 3.9 senior year and 3.9 alternate transcript) and only two and a half years of work experience (but stellar recs).
They also offer the MBA/MPP (a surprisingly-hard-to-find joint degree) with an excellent policy program. Oh, and I heard the weather's nice this time of year.
In all seriousness, with my GPA and youth, I think I'll get dinged at a much higher clip than your average 760 + great essays applicant. It's even more problematic considering that I need to convince two separate adcoms at the same university to accept me in order to begin my desired program (but GRE is good and I have a good academic rec.)
It's going to be interesting. That's really why I created an account here. Your stories and posts were invaluable during my exploration process but I never did find anyone that closely fit my profile. But I think I have a shot and, if there's anyone in the same bucket as me and considering applying in 2011 or beyond, I hope an acceptance or three could give those individuals just a little more self-assurance.

Hey man, with your GMAT and alternate transcript you're fine. I mean, 2.9 gpa is explainable. I have only 21 months we so far (26/27 at matriculation) but I have got interview invites from Cornell and Duke so far (2/2) and waiting R2 on Ross, Darden and RD from Columbia. So, there is hope!
same boat as you guys in regards to gpa (though not completely simlar with the dual mpp/mba or higher gmat) but nevertheless, good luck! what can i say, i was immature back then...
Haven't posted much, but have been reading the forum for the last few months. Applied to Ross R1 and interviewed with an alum in Mid November. This place has been a huge help and I wish all the R1 folks the best of luck this week. If admitted, I'm 99% sure I'd matriculate at Ross.
got 'the email' too.. trying not to read anything into it though...

Don't. Its merely to inform you of where to check your status, just as every other school does. Ross just sends it when it matters. Think of it this way, the status place also shows you financial aid information, which clearly will be for admitted students.
My original comment was about the subject line of the email, I only saw the words "Final Decision Notification" on my BlackBerry.
I'm an R2 applicant. Where can I check my application's status? The Embark site just shows that it's been submitted. How can I check whether it's complete, under review, etc.?
Someone got a call this afternoon at 2:41pm E.S.T. that they are admitted. The number will come from a blocked call - it will most likely not show up as a (734) area code as people previously had anticipated ..
