I got an interview invite as well and am planning to schedule an on-campus interview. Can anyone offer any suggestions on hotels etc...that are near the campus (and reasonably priced)? Also, what is the best way to get from the Detroit airport to Ann Arbor.....auto-rental or are there bus/public transportation that I can take advantage of ?

Also, for the resume that we are required to submit along with the application, is it okay for that to be the same resume that we submitted originally or are people switching up their resumes...?

Based on the number of interview invites I'm seeing here, it seems like Ross interviews a pretty large percentage of applicants. Is that an accurate assessment?

Yup, they generally do a 40% interview and 50% of those get invites...

R2 is a very big round for Ross.

Fair enough then. Acceptance will probably be lower this year, given their stunning yield last year. Which is not the bestest news ever.

Vow. So many invites in a day. Congrats to all the guys who've received them.

I guess this is what is a 'WAVE' I keep hearing when people talk about Ross

The Bell Tower Hotel is kind of a big deal and it's right on campus but there's also a bed and breakfast on Huron and Fletcher that's supposed to be sweet. It looked cool. Generally when my folks needed places to stay, they grabbed stuff south of campus, towards Briarwood and I-94 because it was cheaper.

Also, when I was in Ann Arbor, you could get shuttle service to/from the airport to campus but I don't know the schedule. It might just be around major holidays. There are definitely taxis that will do the job for a flat rate (but I think it's in the 40s. I could be high-balling that, though; it might be lower).

Finally, as for resumes, the consensus seems to be to update if you've enhanced it and keep the app version if you haven't. My understanding is that the interview is blind so whatever you forward to the computer will be all the interviewer sees prior to the interview (please GMATClub, correct me if I am horribly wrong).
