No speech ready. I'll be at work though so I probably can't answer or will have to keep a lid on the excitement if I get the call. I've been curious how you folks handled the introduce yourself essay. After much deliberation I resorted to tongue in cheek humor but I'd be curious how you guys managed to express yourselves in so few words.

I copy pasted the headlines from my Booth presentation I guess they worked much better for my Ross essay # 1 than for my Booth presentation
From the R1 thread, everyone got the Wolverine Access e-mail on January 7 (Friday) around 2:00 PM AA time.
The first admit call (to Israel) was reported on January 11 (next Tuesday) at 9:00 AM AA time.
3 days in between - because of the weekend. Don't know what to make of it as we have more business days before the weekend, and I sure hope Ross won't leave us hanging during it.
Since we are all on pins and needles right now I thought I would share the entertaining thing that just happened to me. My iphone, my one and only telephone number the adcom has, just totally died. This is probably due to readingthe forum while in bed, but the phone is totally dead and no reviving easily and I have to run to work. Let's just hope the adcom sends emails too. It's almost funny.
If by getting in you mean receiving some glitch email then yes. I tend to not count my chickens before they hatch and the only thing that will convince me I am in and not about to be really disapointed is a call. I admit I am no admissions expert or able to read the subtle changes on the school websites and glean meaning so I just think straight forward. No call or fat envelope no admit.

I heard if you miss the one and only phone call from admissions they will give your offer to someone else.
