I kind of had this revelation today while I was driving into work. What if we… wait for it… need to wait until the deadline? I know it’s a little crazy in these days of under promising and over delivering, but we may just have to way til Tuesday.

BabyBeagle, you will always be remembered.

This reminds me of the year that parents of graduating seniors on the baseball team at my high school donated footage signs for the outfield wall (325, 380, 400, 390, etc.). They had our names and numbers on them. To me, these signs seemed more befitting of a memorial for a group of kids who'd perished in some horrible yet stereotypical drunk driving accident.

It might be a good idea for a virtual memorial for non-admitted applicants as well: nickname, ding year and GMAT score.

The forum is for discussion. And, if it was not for the gc, I wudn have come across this situation, leading me to create a login and find a 'preliminary decision'. So, all I did is contribute to the authenticity of the discussion and in fact, I called the adcom and shared the info with other gc members. I am also more than aware that technical faults are not a rare phenomenon (check this link for a good but scary example - https://www.engadget.com/2011/02/27/gmai ... ondence-v/). It is really not a cool thing for someone to find out that they are admitted only to be hold back for a while or may be (I hope not) denied later on. No one is hurting any instituition's reputation by clearing the doubts..
