Now you might see why I am not considering myself an admit until I get a fat packet and a call...
I have a balanced 670 gmat, gpa 3.0 (OUCH!) from a good school in economics,4 years increasing responsibility in marketing at a fortune 50 company and then another 1.5 years doing commodity negotiations for the same company. The interesting parts of my profile consist of being a former professional race car driver and I run my own non-profit which has made a pretty good impact in my local community and involves managing over 50 volunteers.
So you see, I am very average by the numbers and arguably everyone has a neat background. I do think that my essays were very good and my interview at Ross went pretty well.I was able to really get her interested in what I have been doing and in a round-about way show how much I fit with the school. It was not at all a question and answer style interview. My Tauber interview was not as stellar since I was at work and very distracted by the day's events, but Diane at Tauber had no other open spots.
