The Chicago admit event is on the 24th. Unfortunately, I'm out of town for work then so here lies my odd question: Is it possible to attend the Women's admit event on April 2nd in Chicago instead, even if I'm not female? Any precedents?

Jb88, are you trying to use the admit percentage of that sample and compare it to the overall pop from last year? There was probably 20 admits that wasn't on the original roll call, which are all biased samples for obvious reasons. If that's not what you're doing, disregard.

Does that mean that there should be more like 30 or so more admits going out rather than about 10 tomorrow?

Based on the limitations of trying to post on a phone from a plane, I'm gonna eyeball this and say based on the original 45 or so int invite on the original roll call, only about 14 have reported an admit. I would say another 7 or 8 on the original roll call should report admits since GC typically has higher admit rates than the gen. pop. No clue what the original roll call's Dom/int spread was and there's bound to be more people popping up mostly to report admits.

I think somehow ppl who got invited on 1/17 don't see the 2012 link.... i could be wrong.

So am I reading this right? There was only 1 scholarship reported? When R1 calls started coming in it seemed like every other person got something.

In the excitement of it all, I forgot to add in my post that I received a scholarship as well. I didn't have to ask about it, she offered up the information.

I don't think that all acceptances for domestic have gone out. Assuming tht they have to accept around 650 people to hit a similar class number to last year and that this site has a relatively good following and at least 20% of applicants come here, i'd think that there are still a few more to go out domestically.

Assuming same # of apps as last year (2722) they would need to admit 680 @ the 70% yield. Given the <220 applicants on the roll call, less than 10% of applicants come to this site.

It's even worse if you assume 60% of the users here are US based b/c as it stands now half of the interview invitees have been admitted (all of today's admits were domestic).

Hey guys,
First post!
I got in. Indian based out of India. Got a mail at 03.54 AM (GMT+0530).
Just wanted to report that I DID NOT have either of the two glitches. For sure.
Glitch or no glitch, just hang on.

Not admitted (though I didn't even get an interview).

Looks like I'll be finishing up this CFA after all :wink:

Good luck to all those who were admitted. Don't be d-bags and decline to buy 2011 Season Football tickets.

Got an email, I'm in! Not sure if they tried to call, I'm in India (but had listed my US mailing address since it's more reliable). I didn't have any website glitch either. Good luck everyone, hope you get a call/admit email soon!!

I am so happy for everyone who has been admitted so far. It seems like a high percentage. Thank god it wasn't the bloodbath Haas was a couple days ago. Here's wishing tomorrow is another fruitful day for GC'ers! :beer
