Hello Rotman Admits and Faithfull's

I thought i should get the counsel of this group on my situation. I interviewed for a spot in the 2021 MBA intake at Rotman with Chris Jones on May 7th. After the interview he told me that i will hear the decision the next week i.e last week. I didn't get any correspondence from Rotman or Chris last week. We are now in a new week and i'm wondering if its a good idea to follow up with him or just to sit it out. As most of you know its nerve wrecking to wait and i have seen on this page people that said that their final decision was interviewed. How can that be? I thought a final decision is either admitted or denied? I'd like to hear your views as i try to decide if i should reach out to Chris Jones or not.

Ask Chris to inform you about the situation. Don't worry about it. It's your right to follow up with them and that's part of their job to revert back.

I gave up on any chance on being admitted but Chris got back to me on June 2nd with an amazing news. I was admitted. I'd like to join the admitted students group i'm sure there is one here.

Hi guys, I am from India. I got an interview invite last week. I applied by the 2nd round and was waitlisted from 2nd week of March.

Thank you so much! Any idea are they rolling out admissions with scholarship to International students ?
How important is the GMAT for scholarship ? I am a CFA charter holder and Rotman waives off GMAT requirement for CFA. So I have not given them any GMAT score.
I also have an admit from Schulich. Do you think I can play that?

Hey guys!! Got a score of 660 with a split of Q48 V33 and IR 6. I am from India and have work experience of 3 years in Hospitality Industry. I am planning to apply for 2022 intake. Do you guys think I should reappear for my GMAT?

Hi Teena, if you feel 660 isn’t your absolute best, then go for it. Prima facie, a 20-point jump would definitely help. In addition, you can reach out to Rotman for a profile evaluation. Their adcom team, especially Imran Kanga, are very responsive
