Hey minor query on the "early round" applications. If a person doesn't make it through can they re-apply in R2/R3?

nanoname, I don’t think so. This is what is mentioned on their site

Applicants who have been denied admission must wait at least one year before re-applying (it is not possible to re-submit an application within the same admission cycle.

If by "make it through" you meant Not selected

What's the chance of a female IT professional from India with 10 years experience receiving an admit from Rotman (morning/evening MBA)?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to get into product management with the likes of Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook. So need some inputs on the kind of B-Schools in Canada that would be best suited for that.

Thanks!

You may want to look at the employment reports of these schools and see where the graduates are going. That will be a good start 😀

The essay prompt says
Explain your spike factor (something unique about yourself) that you believe will contribute to the Rotman community and is aligned with Rotman values. (up to 1000 words)

It is well understood that spike factors are to be aligned with Rotman values, but that doesn't require any sort explicit mention of Rotman.
but about the contribution part

Do the adcoms expect me to explicitly mention how the spike factors/my experiences are going to contribute to Rotman community, or
Do they expect that I just show my personal experiences and anecdotes without a mention of Rotman directly.

Ideally, you should mention that your experience prepares you to contribute to the Rotman community.

Best of luck.

The question that we should ask ourselves is "What really are the Rotman values? " "What are they looking for?"
Now, we know our spike factors could be anything that demonstrate Passion, Grit, Resilience, Innovation, Drive, Ambition, or even Empathy. As long as your spike factor(s) is/are around these keywords broadly, you are already aligned with Rotman values. So if your word limit allows you, you can explicitly mention how Rotman values the traits that you have but you don't have to spend too many words on it.

Best Wishes :)

No, as long as you have a reasoning. I personally had a 17-month-long gap and still got in.

My Express Entry application for Canadian Permanent Residence is in progress and it's expected to be completed by end of this year, or the start of next year. However, nothing is certain owing to the COVID restrictions.

I would really like to use the discounted tuition fee that comes from being a permanent resident of Canada. If I get my permanent residence after my MBA admit but before my joining, will the admissions department later re-consider me and adjust the tuition fee as for a domestic student, or do I need to be a permanent resident at the time of receiving an admit?

Everything depends on the deadlines. If by the deadline to make first payment you are still an international student, you will be charged accordingly. The upcoming charges will change once your immigration status changes. However, I would encourage you to get in touch with them personally and talk about your case. They are as cordial as one can get.

Hey, admissions are on a rolling basis. Once you have your offer, you have two weeks to pay the deposit. In case you ask for another couple of weeks to postpone it, the school gives you extra time.

Best of luck.
