+1 for Red -- EagleFord ,TX. If i get in , we shall start a big red club at the big S.
Whoop Whoop.. now thats a real fracker there.. fracking all that mean shale in the heart of the frac world... Most of my experience is Coal and Sandstone and a few matrix acid jobs in limestone... I worked with a lotta special services guys though who come from that part of the country... its a different world out there... all of those Q10s going at 15000 psi is what I am talking about.. would love to get an opportunity to catch a few jobs there.. but then, would love the GSB letter more! lol... looking forward to us getting in and forming that club!
Haha..yep we are talking in excess of 10000 psi,, deep horizontal wells. no acid here lol. But guess what shale is what came back to bite us in the back side. Way to expensive to work unconventionals buddy .I am so done though. I choose B school .

It's funny how your yesterday is our tomorrow... Shale is still the 'next big thing' in India... And why not, it's got the potential to take us to energy sufficiency as it has done for you guys.. but I'm with you bro.. I don't see myself with a 12lb hammer in my hand and money in the bank that I wont have time to spend in all my life..

Well at least I'll be busy in better places man... not shooing cows and goats in a remote village for months moving trucks or eating fish food in the middle of nowhere... anyway, the grass is greener on the other side... but I'm still tempted to get on that side and take a look..

I missed a whole lot of conversations here. Hey "HiWay" critics you have to see the real HiWay jobs to know how awesome it is. I am telling you, some of the HiWay jobs I worked on (I was a field engineer)at least increased production for 50% comparing to conventional fraking (Esp. in Texas, backed by data). The trick is the fiber and the blender. Ohh BTW, big blue got new things going now called "broadband" which allows you to frac two or more stages al-together without setting up plugs.

Can't comment on our marketing team but I was quite busy while in the field. :)

Also I agree with devilbart that in general operators have better shot than service companies, but for each individual it still comes down to background, experience, GPA, GMAT etc. Right now I am happy with any school I applied. I just need to get to a school before my company fires me for doing nothing in the past 4 months. lol

two or more stages without plugs is new to me.. sounds wicked... do you guys have data on fluid efficiency and frac propagation with that?

Just for the record I'm not really criticizing hi-way (or highway or whatever) I just don't agree that its 'New' technology or something which is one of its kind - (Which is what the SLB marketing guys claim)... Fiber tech has been around for decades and packaging it as the future of frac doesn't cut it for me... but this broadband stuff sounds cool... like the Hydrajet Anchor or something but you said no plugs at all? Like not even temp plugs?

Can't share too much on this since it is still new (don't want to get myself in jail). But I can tell you that fiber and fiber are different and it's not about the packaging. We have a tech center in Russia that do an awesome job on inventing some kick-ass fiber that could change things.

Lol, anyway... I'm still hoping you get the GSB call... Best of Luck!

Hi all, I am a college senior and I applied to enroll in 2018 and haven't heard anything. Anyone has any insights on the deferred pool? Thanks!

My husband got an invite today. We are based in India, he is in the healthcare manufacturing industry.

Quite a relief to have received it after having give up hope on Stanford. Wishing everyone else good luck here!
