Can't remember specifically. Anyone who was on the chat - feel free to jump in...
I think he just said that he's accepted as low as 540 before and that the lowest in the last class was a 580. I think he just said that Stanford's class generally has very competitive scores.
Generic questions like that generally won't get a response that differs much from the already publicly available information that they post on their site. I think DB and other admissions folk are pretty intentional about their responses to questions like those because if they wanted to divulge anything further, it would already be on the site...
I imagine we'll start seeing more action next week, as the R2 deposit deadline (May 5) approaches and admissions has a better idea of their numbers......
I take it there are a few of us here in waitlist purgatory? Anyone have a sense of how many people they might take off the waitlist? My sense is its probably small, so I'm not expecting much.
@lennman1 -- No clue how many are going to get in off the waitlist, not even sure how many are on the waitlist to begin with. I know it said 50 in R2 but how many from R1 are still on? And presumably some of those 50 in R2 won't accept their spot on waitlist
Anybody else got an invite? Also what might the deadline for the interview invites,if we dont get an invite by this weekend it means we wont get one right?
yeah.. same for me.. i'm wondering if i should just go ahead attend a regional school here instead. Stanford is definitely a school that is a dream, but a worth a shot
