Hey everyone. I just finished watching the latest GMAT Club podcast with Maria and Brian. The second episode features Wil from GSB and it’s really insightful. Do watch.

Although it is known that Stanford does want strong academic history. But considering MSx, you’d have graduated a long time back and for your current readiness to pursue GSB coursework, your GMAT score stands above average and should suffice. That being said, you may want to use the “addition information” optional space to explain low grade points and they do mention it in there.
But all things aside, as they have repeatedly said that they review the application in a holistic manner.

There would be a number of ways to reach out actually. LinkedIn and through Clubs members would be the best way i feel. If there are more people interested (here or in the whatsapp community group), then i could speak to a few try to organise an chat as well.

Hey everyone, how are the essays coming along. I see that many have not joined the whatsapp community- so here’s the link for that. It’s easier to manage notifications and updates in there.

I’m using Applicant Lab. But i would say that answer to this question is quite subjective. I feel there are enough resources on YouTube (check out their own playlists for application week) and if you have someone to have a read through your essays then probably you dont need a consultant. But in case you are from a non-traditional background and there aren’t many MBAs around then you may consider such services. And even if you do, i would suggest that you speak to a few of them first since many offer free 30 min sessions and then decide.

i’ve taken the paid version. but even for that i explored the free version for about a two weeks before deciding.

also, i see your messages aren’t popping up on the whatsapp group. In case you feel comfortable, you may join in there. It’s easier to hop on there. thanks
