I too got waitlisted this morning. I got an email at 7:15 am CDT telling me my status had changed. Waiting to hear from UVA on Tuesday, but my options are shrinking.

I think when status changes, an email always follows early the next morning rather than immediately. For example, I got access to the interview scheduler on Thursday afternoon, then got an interview invite email at 6:30am the next day. When I got accepted, my status changed the day I got the call, but the next morning (saturday) I got an email saying my status had changed.

Lesson is, always check your status before you go to bed!

I 2 have received a waitlist email this morning. There was a discussion on the Duke thread some time ago indicating they may have waitlisted all remaining app's due to class size. It doesn't seem like there has been any final round admits; Texas may have done something similar.

I am waitlisted at Duke, UNC, and UT. Waiting to hear from all 3 at this point. Been a crazy year.

He was joking regarding Monday... as in, don't lose hope, it could happen monday! Historically, (if you look at page 1) acceptances have overwhelmingly been on Fridays, but not always.

Yes, hopefully. I really hope I hear something by the end of this week. The anticipation is killing me. McCombs has been my top choice for a long time now and I finally felt ready to apply.

Since I've been posting in this thread, I guess it's time to be added to the roll call... Applied in March, interviewed in April, and have not heard anything since. Not accepted, not waitlisted, and not dinged, so I'm just waiting it out.

Had not seen that, pretty good. The singer is the same girl that writes an MBA blog for business week. Dealbreaker chronicled a few of these "MBA follies" videos a couple of weeks ago. Darden had a couple of good ones.
