haha. well i havent done my application to hbs yet... and mccombs is a perfect fit for everything i want out of an MBA so i am not even sure if i would apply to hbs should i get into mccombs

Yeah, mine has updated.

If I click on the check application status link on the Dean Hirst letter, it takes me to a congratulations page that has a button to accept or decline.

I'm still waiting on a decision. Interviewed 11/2. 700/3.4 Undergrad at McCombs/ 4 yrs WE. Texas is definitely my #1....I live in Austin and this city is ridiculously great. Here's to hoping I get some good news to go along with my National Championship tickets!

Thanks asianstyles. Getting official transcripts from India is proving to be a pain in the neck.
Make sure to try and get your transcript in as soon as you can - there's quite a bit of processing time, apparently. FedEx delivered mine on 12/7, and it still shows as missing on the status check, so I just called GIAC to get an update. They said everything should be fine but it can take up to 4 weeks to update on your status. All of my other items are in, so I'm just waiting on the transcript for them to look at my app. :(

-Also send in your gmat asap.. I sent mine in on the day of the "first deadline" and it was available for McCombs within 2 days.
-However McCombs doesn't check its systems to see if it received scores everyday, instead McCombs manages the process in batches.
-For example, if you score is availble to McCombs on Monday, McCombs might not pull it until Friday (not exact dates).

Thanks for the tips Swank6 and aabbccddee.

Admissions received my Graduate Transcripts today (according to USPS). Undergrad still under process back in India. Every other document is in the system. I called admissions to confirm that they received the grad transcript. I was transferred to a voicemail. I tried calling back again at 3 different numbers - no response. It was like they knew it was me and they did not want to answer.

I am wondering if the grad transcript (from a US university) is enough to start my app review.

Anyone have the address handy where transcripts need to go? I can't find it online anywhere!
This seems like one of the few schools that needs official transcripts for applications, most require only if u matriculate.

my status finally updated this morning too.

not to be crass, but has anyone heard anything about recruiting scholarships yet? during my acceptance phone call, it sounded like they'd be notifying us by December 18, so I was just wondering if anyone had receive any more information yet.
