I completed my graduation in 2011,I am an entrepreneur and have an experience of 8+ years. Am I eligible for full MBA program for fall 2021 intake, or an experience of 8+ years will be a red flag.
It's better to get your profile evaluated from the adcom team. They will be the best people to guide you.

Hello
I completed my graduation in 2011,I am an entrepreneur and have an experience of 8+ years. Am I eligible for full MBA program for fall 2021 intake, or an experience of 8+ years will be a red flag.
I am planning to submit my application to UBC. My profile:
31 year old 5 years of experience as a software developer 650 GMAT Currently living in Canada as a permanent resident
I am almost done with my essay questions. I will be ready to submit my application in a week or so. But I am aware that the application deadline is October 20th for round 1. Is there any advantage in submitting before that deadline? Or should I continue to refine my answers? I don't have any better options due to my GMAT score and this is the only good target school for me.

If you think you can refine the answers, you should that and submit at a later point in time. I also see the following on their website which means that you will get a decision within 8 weeks of your application submission. So, I would advise you to submit it sooner rather than waiting for the deadline.
Quote:
Candidates will be guaranteed an admissions decision within 8 weeks of their complete application submission prior to the deadline of April 6, 2021.

Drop a mail to admission team asking about it, i think they will grant permission seeing the condition.

Anyone with a 48 percentile in quant? I submitted my application on 18th but I'm a little apprehensive if they'll ask me to retake the test as it is 2 points below the minimum requirement. My overall score is 650 Q44 V36, with 80 percentile in verbal.
Update: I received an email on Oct 22 informing me that a preliminary review of my documents and references has been completed and my application has been forwarded for further review. Anybody else get this mail?
