Okay, so to answer my own question... I called the admissions office and they said that they will in fact be posting other slots today or tomorrow. I really wanted to do it on campus so it's nice to know I don't have to hop a flight right away...

Hi all. New to the forum. I received my interview invite yesterday with instructions on how to schedule. But, when I clicked the link to schedule an on-campus interview the only dates listed were for tomorrow through next week (Feb 5-12). While that is a super quick turn around for someone like me on the east coast, even if I could get out there next week all the dates were full...

Is anyone else having the same problem? I was going to call the admissions office, but if someone here has a quick fix, I'll happily take it.

Thanks!

I snagged a slot for this coming Monday, 2/8. The trip is easy since I'm coming from SF, but the timing on my interview doesn't go very well with the available class visit and info session. Oh well...

It's pretty standard. I did my interview on-campus with a second-year. It lasted exactly 30 minutes and she didn't really ask anything out of the ordinary.

Just received an interview invite at 8:27PM EST - so excited! The admissions office provided the option to interview on-campus or locally with an alum. Checked the schedule for on-campus interviews and there are dates available from early next week until the end of the month. Also checked my app status and it says "Your application is complete for committee review and will have a decision released by the publish date for your round." - not sure if that is what it said before, or if it has changed.

Best of luck to everyone else in R2!

Congrats to those with invites! For the rest of us, are we figuring next week is the final week for invites of significant volume? Maybe until the end of Feb.?

I did my interview on-campus yesterday, along with a class visit, tour, and info session. I must say, I was very impressed by the school and the people, and my visit gave me a much better feeling than the info presentation I went to here in SF back in the fall. I'm really hoping to get in; the California job connections and opportunities really look stellar.

Interview was with a 2nd year and very straightforward. Walked through resume, talked about some interests, and some of the opportunities at Anderson. It was about half an hour. My interviewer was notably helpful in describing how he took advantage of Anderson's programs like the AMR - I got a much better idea of the potential scope of that project. All in all, the students I met were very friendly and clearly a smart group.

Good luck to everyone.

I just came back from my Anderson interview. I interviewed on campus with a 2nd year student. It was really straightforward, and probably the most conversational interview I have had yet.

The timing was very strict: 25 minutes for their questions, and 5 minutes for mine. Thus, there weren't too many questions other than the basic ones.

For anyone interested, during my visit, one of the 2nd years mentioned the new Anderson employment report has been released:
https://www.anderson.ucla.edu/Documents/ ... Report.pdf

Lots of specifics for the class of 2009 full-time and class of 2010 summer job results.

I had my interview in NYC with an alumni and it lasted nearly 1.5 hours. I believe this was much longer than both of us had anticipated, largely because the interview became very much a conversation about my goals and experience and his experience at Anderson. I had the traditional questions asked (Tell me about yourself, Why Anderson, Why now?, Long/short-term career goals). The only un-traditional question was still not too bad. He asked about what I hoped to get out of business school.

Good luck to everyone still awaiting an interview invite!

Do you think if we visit the campus, we'll have a better shot at getting an interview?
