Does it mean to have a great chance to get in if interviewed? I was interviewed in the mid of feb but didn't get anything back...
The waiting is killing me...

Not sure how great but the interview is mandatory.

Good luck everybody.

Based on numbers from BW, around 66% of those who interview are accepted.

That was a whole two admissions cycles ago. People have been flocking to b-schools in droves since the economy has tanked and now seems to be in a state of semi-permanent malaise.

I think it's just one admissions cycle ago. Businessweek updated its biannual ranking sometime last year(around October?) to reflect the 2010 statistics.

Not a perfect indicator but a reasonable proxy nevertheless.

I got accepted into UCLA. Waiting for USC's R2 decision. Anyone still trying to decide between the two schools (UCLA and USC) like I am?

Congrats to all of you who have been accepted! Does everyone think the rest of us have to wait until the 30th for our decisions? If so, does anyone have confirmation of this?

You can tweet @MJShores and ask -- she is the Asst. Dean of Admissions. I've seen others ask her questions and she has been pretty responsive.

You may want to look into employment reports from USC--when I visited Anderson and Stanford several of the guys I talked to mentioned that job recruiting isn't too strong out of USC yet because it's still seen as an up and coming program by a lot of the big firms.

Biased opinions, obviously, but worth checking out before you make a decision.

I just accepted to UCLA (via email)! I'm a R2 Consortium applicant.

Question for those who have gotten accepted - was the scholarship information included in your online acceptance letter?

No, there wasn't any mention of it when I logged into my application. Scholarship talk came up in the followup phone call from AdCom then in a separate email later that day. Phone calls started around 10am California time from what I remember.

I am a Consortium applicant, so we are on a slightly different timeline. I am not sure if the rest of the people getting admits today are Consortium or regular applicants.
