No phone call or congratulatory email. Just an bog standard form email asking me to check my applyyourself status online. I opened it dreading the worst.
Got the email 5:13AM MST which would be 4:13AM West Coast time.

Yahh! Got Innn!! Got the phone call around 9:30AM and.. yeah got the email at around 4:15AM PST!! Sooo glad!! Looking forward for the A-Day!! Congrats to fellow admits and best wishes for those who got waitlisted...
On the waitlist. Better than a ding, I guess. Based on the waitlist message, I understand that the waiting can extend anywhere from 2 months to 6 months. It also discourages any additional materials other than GMAT or academic related updates.
I probably know the answer but I still have to ask - any waitlist tips, folks?
BTW, Congrats to all admits!! Can someone update the roll call?
I was unfortunately waitlisted as well. Seems to me, based on today's posts, like there are as many (or more) waitlisted candidates as admits. Other waitlisters, do you think this is a good sign or bad?
Not exactly. 13 admits vs. 9 WLs. But I know what you are saying. Disproportionately high number of WLs for sure. Looks like they are playing it safe to see how many accept the Rd 1 offers, how many show up in subsequent rounds, esp., Rd 2 and its quality.
Just got a followup call that included scholarship info, so for any admits who haven't gotten a call yet, your online application won't necessarily reflect any scholarship offers.
Just got the call! $35,000/year, too. Way, way more than I was hoping for after 2 dings and a waitlist. No mention of the scholarship online, I was just told over the phone.
