This wait is killin' me.. I wonder how much legacy matters... I have multiple family members that were Trojans... guess I find out in another week and change.. garrr!

Were they undergrad? or MBA?

I keep hearing that sometimes it is beneficial and other times they don't really care.

I believe this was requested before the application due date. USC was one of those rare schools who requested so. However, don't freak out if you haven't done so yet, I have not heard of any adcom decision being influenced by this sort of oversight. But yea, get it in. Like yesterday.

I guess it's an indicator of the internal management at Marshall. I got the impression that the school is not as well managed as others.
e.g. I have searched the graduate marketing association at marshall and found the website is down. Their twitter account? Their last twitte was in 2010.
I really like the school and LA. Hoping that someone can chime in and prove my impression was wrong.

I have the same worries...a lot of the feedback I've gotten from students (especially in regards to career services) has been less than stellar.

Perhaps your information was different (which may chime in well with Drucker, et. al comments below and above), but when I asked the associate director during my interview, I was told that we would get email notification and calls starting the 1st, Sunday. My guess is that 90% of notifications will go out 1st and 2nd, though to be fair that is just my gut feeling and anecdotes from previous posters around notification day in this thread.
