Does anyone know anything about the Impact Fellows program? I know it was new last year, 19 people were selected, and there is a short application. But would love to know more, like any scholarship money, how many get asked to apply, when do they notify selection, etc?q

Hi! R1 admit here. Impact fellowship does not come with a financial package. However, it offers you a fantastic leadership development programming. You'll also have an alumni mentor guiding you. Once you graduate, you'll get to do the same for another student. This is as much as I know.

I was asked to apply for the fellowship on December 15. They notified me about the fellowship on the 25th of Feb.

Thanks for the information. Guess I must be down the foodchain. While I was admitted in round 1 with a small amount of $$, I just got the invite Friday and while the email didn't indicate any round, the hotlink indicated a round 2 deadline. This was a pretty fast turn - Friday to Monday. So it might be another 2 months before I get any indication of acceptance. Thanks for the info.

Revera background check begins after first deposit

You will get an update on the portal to pay for the process and submit the form once you pay your first deposit

They allow you to defer contacting your work to verify, but you pay the $100 fee for them to check. They have to verify before you matriculate, but not sure how long they will let you defer.
