There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
"We can confirm that we have received your application however due to the significantly high volume of applications received at the application deadline we are extending the shortlisting decision date until Friday 19th February 2021."
"I am writing to inform you that the Selection Committee has completed an initial review of your application. The recommendation from the Committee is that your application be placed on a waiting list whilst we review all applications submitted for the current round of admission. This decision was due to the exceptionally strong competition and high volume of applications received.
All applications on the waiting list will receive a decision by 26th March 2021 at the latest. "
I see 3 other decisions updated on the tracker today.
2 more have been waitlisted (3 including you) and 1 has been denied until now.

Thanks for the reply. I have a GMAT of 680 and a WE of 3.7 years. I am just curious that do they waitlist even before the interview itself? Also, did you get an invite or any update today ?
And yes, the waitlist means you are shifted either to the next round or until R2 applications interviews are completed and once they have a fair idea of vacant places, they will start sending interview calls to the Waitlisted candidates. Usually, colleges fill around 25-30% from the waitlists at the end as many people defer or opt for other schools.
You have not appeared for GMAT yet? There was no place in the application for GMAT score submission. Though, it was recommended that you add GMAT score report under Transcripts section or else they would have asked in any case before taking decision on your application.
I actually have not taken the GMAT yet, I'm preparing for it currently, and plan to give by first week of March or sooner. Since Warwick was accepting application without score, I took a chance, as the next deadline was too late for international applicants, being in May.
In many cases they give contingent/conditional offers to attain a score within specified time. Anyhoo, now I've time till 26th March.

saurabhjmi - Congrats. And that's an interesting observation. I don't think we can or will be compared (hoping not) because you have a great profile to go with.
I hope we both get into Warwick!! It's pretty much my top choice school, now that I have been rejected at Cambridge.
All the best to you too!! Kindly update if you hear on your final interview dates. May be we can catch up sometime over a call for Mock or just to get to know? PM me if it sounds like an activity you would be interested in.
Are the waitlisted candidates directly considered for an admit or do they move to an interview stage from waitlists and then a final decision is taken?

It also depends on whether an applicant is waitlisted with or without an interview. If one gets waitlisted without an interview, then there is a high chance that the school will ask for an interview before giving out an admission.
Has anyone been asked to give the Warwick Test as part of their MBA application?
I received a conditional offer today dependent on completing the test since I hadn't given my GMAT yet. I had a valid GRE score and confirmed with the school before applying whether that would suffice for the application or a GMAT was needed. They were pretty transparent in letting me know that if an offer is made I would be required to take the Warwick Test.
Would be great if someone could share their personal experiences about the test
