Wharton had planned to start releasing interview invites from Jan 17. on admissions411 there is 1 guy reporting R2 interview. Other than that haven't seen anyone report an invite yet.

Ever since I submitted, I've never checked my apps again.. after reading this thread I decided to check.. and it says Complete - Round 2..

don't know what that means.. hopefully a good thing :-D

They said wait until Jan 24th before calling about your app. If you know you sent in all the necessary materials, there's nothing to worry about. They (ad com) probably have a few thousand applications to go through and organize. I do not envy them during these times at all.

Hi Greg-

The majority of interviews tend to go out towards the end of the interview period. This was definitely the case in R1, and per Wharton this is the same pattern they've followed in the past. Keep in mind, plenty of people who received their invites on the last day of the invite period have gotten in.

Dosa and Terry are spot on, the majority of invites go out near the end of the cycle. Keep in mind that there is no hidden agenda behind how invites are sent out...they are sorted as they come in and then read independently by two separate people. So if the reviewers evaluating your app are quick then you'll hear back before someone else who's app is read by one/two of the reviewers at a later time.

So can I assume my sleep deprivation will extend till second week of February until the majority of interviews go out to candidates. Guess after that either my sleep deprivation will continue or put an end to Wharton chapter.

Personally the sleep deprivation has become a habit now and is threatening to turn into insomnia for me. I hope i get in some school and use this insomnia to my advantage rather than the whole exercise being a fruitless disaster.
