I submitted my app Dec 17th. I don't remember exactly when it read complete but I know it was very early after the deadline date.

Interesting. I wonder how they work the review process in terms of people who submit weeks in advance of the deadline. Does adcomm get to their application first or do they just throw it in the same pile as the people who submit an hour before the deadline?

From what I understand, it really is a random process. Everything's printed out after the deadline and put into a bunch of piles. Once the apps have gotten an initial read, they're sent for a second read that also happens in a random order.

I submitted on 1/2. I don't know when it went complete because I have not been checking that. I decided that I would not drive myself crazy by checking each of the school's websites, although apparently I have no problem checking my gmail account every five minutes.

ok .. who all are on the verge of giving up on the W interview invite? I submitted 1/1, my recommendors submitted on 1/3 and my app went complete about 2 weeks ago. with each passing day, i lose a little hope :(

i agree with terry. the order that interviews are sent out is random. yours could come at any time so there is no point in worrying. besides, it's out of your hands at this point anyway. i know how badly most of us want to get into school, so it's hard not to constantly think about getting interviews, but try to focus on other, better uses of time like work, exercise, hobbies, etc.

As I said earlier, I'm not worried yet, but ask me in 10 days and I might be nervous. I know I put forth my best effort on all parts of the application and that's all I could do.

I couldn't agree with you more about putting our best foot forward and wait for results. There is nothing that we can do from now on.

Looks like there was only one interview invite post on s2s today. Obviously, there were probably more invites sent out than just one though. Tick tock, tick tock...

sup yall, just got a W invitation. My stats are crappy (rejected everywhere R1) so I'm not holding my hopes up for W. Altho if I can get an invite, so can any of you. Most of the invites will come out the last week or so (what i've heard) so don't freak.

You can choose on campus, off campus hub, or off campus alum. Right now for hubs they have China, India, Japan, Korea, and UK, altho the schedule is not up yet. I still haven't decided to go with hub or alum (can't make it to campus), any ideas?

Would maybe go with hub. Have heard some rumors recently about alum interviews being somewhat less than helpful. Always kind of a crapshoot w/alums, I think - you could get someone personable and amazing, or...not.

Hey guys, I will be interviewing as well. Unbelievably excited as it is the first of the year for me. I haven't had a chance to look at the schedule yet. Will write more as it comes…..
