A better question: Was your pay scaled downward for all the time you weren't working (in comparison to those working in lets say Japan or the USA)?

my salary was the same during a vacation month at the beach than a month working.

Interesting article about this: https://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/06/ ... 4571.shtml

I just realized I did something incredibly stupid!

So one of my recommenders is my manager at the firm I worked at last. In my essays, I've frequently referred to my interactions with her. However, I've used the name she prefers to be known by at work, which is different from her formal name (that I put in as the recommender's name).

I'm concerned Wharton AdCom members will get confused, or--even worse--find my application dishonest or suspicious. Should I call Wharton's attention to this? If so, how?

Man, although Wharton's application is my most important and I would go there even if I get a full tuition remission from XXX or YYY, I have made some soooo stupid misptints, that YOUR mistake looks good when compared with mine. This is a result of submitting in the last day :(

Guys,

Does this "COMPLETE" mean that my late recommendations were in time, or the sign means nothing and my application can already be on shelf for Round3? :)

Yeah, you're fine. It means they have received all the necessary materials.

Just out of curiosity, what's your order of preference between booth, columbia, and LBS? It seems like those 3 schools have a lot of overlap in the applicant pool.

Are you 101% sure and you remember that there was something different before status "COMPLETE", or this is you educated guess?
As about other schools - I will PM you about this. Hope you understand :)

Yes. I'm just about 100% confident. After submitted, the operations team assembles the application and make sure all the required materials are there. Once that's done, your status changes to complete. Keep in mind though that for some reason, Wharton does NOT e-mail you about these changes, except for interview invites and final decisions. When my recommenders submitted their letters, I had to log in to verify that they got submitted.

This is directly from Wharton:

"If your online account reads "Complete - Round One," your application has all the required materials, has been processed by the Operations Team, and has been forwarded to the Committee for review."

You should be good to go!

They didn't send one on submitting but they did sent all applicants an email the following day indicating that your online status should say "Received" or "Complete - Round 2." They said to wait until Jan 18th before inquiring about completeness of your application - by then all applications should say "Complete - Round 2."

Non-native speaker is here :)

I've just noticed a misprint in my Resume: I wrote UNIVERCITY rather than UNIVERSITY.
Is it a "death sentence" or I may alleviate the situation and should e-mail operational team to change my Resume before Adcoms start to read our applications?
