That said, at least I do not know how serious this mistake is in their eyes. Anything I can do now to positively correct it - should I notify them somehow. I am afraid that may have a negative affect as this new information will overwhelm other aspects espcially during the short time an admission committee member views the application for.

My opinion is you should just leave it as it is. DO NOT send any emails to the adcom. They will be extremely busy reading the applications and pinging them now will make them doubt your judgement. This is not a big mistake that will warrant their time. I for one have 40 courses in my UG transcript and another 15++ in my grad transcript. Thats arnd 50+ courses for me. There is a huge chance for plenty of applicants to make mistakes when they self-report. Imagine if all of them starts e-mailing the adcom. 1 course will not be a big deal. You will get an opporuntity to explain any differences in your reported transcipt when you get an admit. Dont worry. As far as i know, they are not gonna revoke your admit on minor mistakes such as this.

thanks randomwalk that sounds reasonable to me.

For what it's worth, I have 68 courses in UG and 10+ courses in Grad.

Non-native speaker is here :)

I've just noticed a misprint in my Resume: I wrote UNIVERCITY rather than UNIVERSITY.
Is it a "death sentence" or I may alleviate the situation and should e-mail operational team to change my Resume before Adcoms start to read our applications?

In my opinion they probably won't see the mistake. It's a word that is present in 95% of the resumes they read, so they probably skim it. However, if you send an email then all the AdCom members will know.

Oh, yes they will see the mistake. You do not know how hard they work! The most famed misprint of last year's applications was made by a female applicant who claimed she was working for a conSLUTing firm.

While it is not a death sentence, sloppy spelling is certainly a big minus.

I made a mistake in my self-reported transcript while filling it at the last minute. I missed a complete course in self-reported transcript because in my transcript it was right below another course that had the same grade (and the garde was not good). All other things, such as GPAs came out fine. I am concerned; can I do something now?
If it were a good grade course, then it is an easy fix: hey, Adcom, I noticed that one course I got an A+ for is missing from the self-report form, can I fax it to you now?

With "not good" grades, it is trickier as you are risking coming through as a "creative" applicant.

If I were you, I would call the school and explain that you are horrified by your technical mistake: omitted a course on the self-reporting form, and that everything else on the transcript is fine. Ask them if mailing an official transcript is an option in your case.

This would show that you are honest and ethical: big deal at Wharton.

You can run, but you can't hide.

Did anyone participate in the January 18th online chat? I'm curious to know if anyone asked about the waitlist topic for Round 1.

Does anyone know how Wharton handles interviews for those in remote locations? Skype or telephonic?

If you get invited to interview, you'll be able to see all locations where alumni are available to interview. I live in Auckland and I flew out to Sydney to do my interview since that was the closest available location. I didn't ask about phone options for the Wharton interview though I was offered a phone interview by Lauder but I requested a live one in Sydney. But if you have the slightest feeling that you would perform better in a live interview, I would recommend flying out to the closest available option. You need every possible thing going for you in a highly competitive process! My interviewer gave me really positive feedback after the interview and I would have been able to make an equally positive impression over the phone. But of course you might feel differently. If you have more than one school to interview with you can even try to pick a common city and common dates. Most alumni will be flexible and accommodating with dates if you tell them you are coming from far.
