Due to the nature and complexity associated with the admissions process there is no particular order in which invitations are released. Also on November 5th , the Committee will release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission . Sure seems like a disproportionate amount of waitlists here. Are they just trying to make us feel better or do waitlisters have a legitimate shot of still getting in. Does anyone know that stats? What % of waitlisters historically get in?

WL again. Withdrawing and going to Booth. Freaky--today's one year to the day I decided to go for an MBA. Talk about closure...

i'm perplexed by the amount of people waitlisted. i guess they want to see who accepts their r2 offer. because not a whole lot of people apply in r3. good thing about getting WL'ed at Wharton is they have a relatively low yield 60-70%. i know a few people who have made it off the waitlist at Wharton. But, still it seems like they took the easy way out and put everyone on the waitlist. can't complain; better than a rejection.
