Found an old table on the school's yield from businessweek... I imagine that the yield numbers have not departed significantly from the numbers below

Selectivity 21% 16% 16% 13% 15%
Yield 69% 68% 70% 74% 70%

I have heard ~33%, although the source of the info is unconfirmed, so don't really know how realistic the number is...

Ding here. I am proof that taking the GMAT on 12/31, starting your essays on 1/1, and applying on 1/4 doesn't maximize your chances for getting in!

I have a great position in an industry and I had half the c-suite sell me on staying with our company, so a lot of good things came from getting this far. Good luck to those who got in.

WL here too.

So is it a given that a waitlister (if they get in) will definitely not get a scholarship?

ahh..i was there..and i will say..i am glad i made the right call...Wharton baby!..see you this Fall

consultant462
was too busy drinking to bother opening the official letter, having received a call earlier today

"In addition, due to your exceptional professional, academic and personal achievement, I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive a $40,000 [Industry] Fellowship, to be distributed over your two years at Wharton. We recognize and value your significant achievements to date and look forward to your contributions to the Wharton MBA program, your classmates and future alumni network."

if hbs says yes next week, this will certainly complicate the decision...
