I believe wharton should come out and address this. Even if it were to be that knowing the questions is not going to help the applicant or if they are going to add additional questions to tidy up the process, there will be a lot of concerned applicants. I don't think it has been raised in the s2s forums as of yet. If it becomes out in the open no point ignoring the elephant in the room.

As an applicant in R2, it will be interesting for me to see how this interview process will pane out to be when my turn (hopefully) comes.

interesting point about Round 2, they will prob. change the questions, and warn alums not to leak (a lot of good that will do) but then NO ONE BUT AN IDIOT WOULD SIGN UP FOR AN EARLY INTERVIEW. SO THEY WILL THEN FORCE PEOPLE TO TAKE INTERVIEWS EARLY, ETC. AND TURN THIS INTO EVEN MORE OF A POLICE ACTION.
THE HITS JUST KEEP COMING FOR THIS WONDERFUL IDEA.

Any chance of moving the conversation away from asking for interview questions and having people refuse to share?

Sandy, for answers to these interview questions, should we focus on just professional experience, or should we mix in 1 community/volunteer experience? Thanks.

I have got a problem with scheduling an off-campus interview with alumni. I employed my first search and then I tried to reach one of the alumni from the search. But a day after, when I logged in to my account, I found that the results of my first search were not saved. (the oposite works for Chicago). Is it possible to restore the results of the first search?

The results of my first search were saved and are visible every time I log in. Not sure why its different for you? Might be a technical issue.

Could you pls specify, in which part of the site you see the information of your interviewer search?

I click on "search" under Events, I select "alumni interviews" and then click on Search again, I check the "I agree" option and click on Continue, and then on the bottom of the next page there are the Search Results where it gives me an option to select one of the interviewers to confirm the interview.

What have people been bringing with them to on campus interviews? Standard leather folder (a la applying to jobs when you were in college)? Bag of some sort?

Yeah I have the same question although its an alumni interview.. I wonder if its ok to take a leather folder that has my company's name on it. Not like I'm interviewing for another job!?

Some interviewers are going rogue and asking you specify e.g. a conflict w. two or more peeps at work. If the interviewer does not specify, just give the most robust answer you can, interviewer is just a near-robot [the process is designed that way!!!!] who writes down what you say and scores you on a scale e.g. if you addressed issues, took leadership, managed conflict, listed outcomes and made improvments, shaped the outcome, added value, made it easier for others to contribute , etc. etc. A great answer on those points about how you resolved a conflict between PE shops who were flipping Simmons Mattress for the 14th time and destroying the company gets a 4 while a "thin" answer about how you solved a small disupte at a refugee camp about where to house and care for rape victims gets a 2, if there were not enuf conflicts, and all you did was convince one other person that rape victims would be better off living together so they could help each other, and that was what you thought of as the answer, b.c. you had not been prepped, and it just came to mind, and then the robot kept asking you what else, what else, what did you say after the victims were safe, and all you can say is, THANK GOD, which is not what Wharton Robot is looking for, b.c. it did not add value to your dispute settling bullet list, but the Simmons Mattress guy had read this post and came in loaded for bear w. lots of conflicts and some BS about all he did [to help destroy the company].
WAY TO GO WHARTON. for good details on rape of Simmons Mattress, and how to use this for your advantage in the Wharton Idiot Interview see, At Simmons, Bought, Drained and Sold, Then Sent to Bankruptcy ...https://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/05/business/economy/05simmons.html

So i understand people's reluctance to post the interview slides/questions here. Any chance someone can PM a link or something?

I have my interview in 2 days time and I am just trying to ignore the fact that some people might be knowing the questions beforehand. I am just going to be myself and face the interview the way I would if I didn't know about this whole change of process.

After all, I am assuming the wharton adcom is smart enough to pick the right candidates and if they are not then I anyways don't want to be in their school :-D .

ps: The truth is that I am just trying to calm my nerves as I don't know the questions :)

From what I've heard, the slides are likely proprietary training materials that belong to Wharton and are given only to interviewers. I think it would be a breach of ethics for anyone other than interviewers to have those. I don't have them and I don't want them.

A number of sample questions were posted by ppop quoting Sandy - a couple of pages back in this forum. They were also Sandy's thread on Business week. Feel free to search for those.
