all questions were expected - i hope that helps
Not at all since everyone is expecting 3 behavioral questions and you said that's not how your interview went.

I believe all other threads have members giving details on what questions they were asked.. take a look at recent posts in HBS and Booth threads for example.. not sure why people on this forum seem to suggest they dont want to know or reveal that information or that it is unethical? NYU ad com actually makes it a point to note that students share questions during job interviews as an example of their collaborative community.

Well I guess what it means is - no behavioral questions but other typical questions which were not unexpected. Makes sense?

The reason why people don't share is that they are all scared by Sandy. Oops, bad business, sandy.

Got my interview tomorrow. A little startled by the boogiemen on this forum, but feeling confident and ready to go. To me, if they have changed the procedure as some have suggested, it seems like a way to 'standardize' alumni interviews as much as possible and control for biases amongst interviewers, but I could be wrong. Either way, wish me luck...

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

Interview is with an alumni. Haven't had the pleasure of doing an on campus interview yet, but will be crossing that threshold this weekend in Chicago. Hoping this alum is as engaging as the Booth alum was. Nothing like a friendly face to help sell a school =). Currently cramming behavioral questions and hoping I don't fall asleep on the couch...

I agree. To suggest you aren't the least bit curious what questions are being asked is a 100% lie. To not describe how your interview went is another thing. I also don't understand the sudden competitive environment the Wharton thread is fostering for R1.

I see your pain. I had a day long behavioral interrogation (3 on 1) when I was interviewing for my job and it was stressful! Well at least with Wharton it will be one on one. Just relax and chill! If you know the stories that you are going to talk about then you should be fine. just make sure you talk about your contribution in every story ( Sometime people tend to drift in behavioral interview :-D )

I dont understand the lack of collaboration in this thread either. If these are the type of people that are going to be my classmates for the next two years then thats going to suck.

I have interview in few hours, wish me luck.......will post my experience after that.

@pbiddy4life, I completely agree with you. The other threads are more open and I won't be surprised if some of the same people from this thread and sharing more on the other threads. I think its more like a herd mentality that if no1 is sharing I won't do it either.

Thanks ankurb and best of luck to your gf too for her interview  I have my hub interview on friday. I guess there were only 6 or 8 slots for the hub interview in delhi..does that suggest that they are interviewing lesser % of applicants this year, considering there are about 100 Indian admits every year in Wharton? Obviously, the underlying assumption is that most interviews would be happening at Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

I saw almost 30-35 slots in hub interview when we logged in first i.e 2 weeks back but i guess they were filled fairly quickly.

Would you want to connect if you based in delhi...pm me with details.
