What is the maximum word count for each essay submitted by a recommender?
For Harvard it's 250 words, but for Wharton I could not find any info about that.

There is no limit for Wharton recommendation letter as far as I know. I do know that one of my recommenders wrote an extremely detailed letter touching 4 pages.
Sandy, with all due respect, how did you make the above conclusion?

duh, because some kids have access to the questions in advance (sent to them by alums, or friends, or even leaky adcoms who dont like the process either) and some kids, like the ones on this forum, have a pretty darned good idea of what Interview will be like, and some poor schmucks (more than you imagine) are going into Interview cold, and the nature of the interview is such, that because they ONLY drill down on 3 stories, prepping those stories is a great advantage.
I am confused. How is this different from the "Why Wharton? Why now?" and "Walk me through your CV" routine that everybody knew about?
duh, because everyone knew about it, and it soon morphed into a series of other questions, where interviewer could modify his view of you, so each interview went its own way depending on your story, and follow up--but imagine if only 50 pct kids knew about those questions, and prepared, and pct did not, and THOSE WERE THE ONLY 3 QUESTIONS. AND YOUR 'GRADE' HUNG ON EACH. The real unfairness is pretty simple, one req. question deal w. free-riders, e.g. guys on teams who dont do the work, how you deal w. them. A good number of peeps may not actually have much exp w. this, do you??? IF you are unprepared, you will say the first thin story that comes to mind, then you will find yourself spending 5 real intense minutes being drilled down on this, while saying inside your head, "Hey dude, this barely happened, it was a small incident on a college study group, so move on..." but interviewer cannot move on, he will drill and drill..............Now compare that to guy who knows about this questions, goes in loaded for bear, w. some amped up story, with many elements, and pssble value adds, and sub leadership stories (I first went to freerider privately to see if there was a health issue, etc, not what the unprepared kid is likely to say) and etc. etc. SO this non-event in reality for the unprepared kid becomes 1/3 interview grade, while for prepared kid, he gets a 4. Is that fair????

Hey chinki, thanks for the debrief! I'm sure you did fine! So was the interview mostly behavioral or the traditional why MBA/why W type?

not behavioral ...it was stress inducing - i think the interviewers wanted to see if I was going to crack under pressure - again it was only 20-25 minutes ...

Sorry to hear that but I am sure you did fine!
You say you're not sure if he didnt like what you wanted to do with your life, does that mean he asked you why MBA or career goals?
