Congrats to all those who got invites! At this point, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that I'm most likely not going to get an invite.

No invite yet here but we've got until next Thursday. Until then, its not over. No point stressing yourself out given the situation is out of our hands now.

I was down with the flu and after waking up after 14 hours of sleep, saw an invite email in my mailbox! It was sent around Sunday afternoon US time. A very welcome mail after I was pretty down after not getting an HBS invite.

Does anyone know approx what percentage of candidates does wharton interview ?

We've got till Thursday! There's still A LOT of hope! Didn't the bulk of R1 invites go out in the last 2 days of the mid-decision window?! Cheer up you guys!

Hey,

I received an interview invite just before the weekend, late Friday afternoon. I'm still trying to work out whether to opt for Alumni Interview or an off-campus HUB interview with a Wharton representative.

Thoughts? Apologies if this has been addressed already. I will confess that I haven't looked through the entire thread.

Thanks, and good luck to those still waiting.

Edit: For those asking, I'm 26/M/Indian/3.7 GPA/790/4 years Wall Street, 1 year social sector.

Is there any difference between interviewing with an alumni or doing the interview on-campus? Would the on-campus interview carry more weight since it is perceived to be more diffcult than the alumni interviews?

There is a flaw in your argument and be careful how you express yourself in the interview. You basicly saying that those who can not attend an interview on campus, possibly 80% of the admitted MBA students, stand no chance of getting accepted if they have an inteview with an alumni at international locations?

I did a mock interview with the Wharton alum from the reviewers from the EssayCritique blog (https://essaycritique.blogspot.com) yesterday and asked him this question. He said that - (a) it doesn't matter - rather than where you interview, your chances depend on who you interview with if you can relate (b) they give equal weight to input from any interviewer, on campus or alum (c) at W at least, the interview is not make or break - you can still get in even if you get an "OK" from the interviewer if the rest of your app works

I'm interviewing on campus.. now if only I can figure out how to do a.b.c above!! good luck guys, please post your interview expeirences here

got an invite this morning! although, scheduling-wise, the application website mentioned that all on-campus interviews need to be completed by march 5 but i only see interview slots until feb 26. anyone know if the slots up until the 5th are filled or have they not been released yet?
