I agree. i don't think Wharton likes entrepreneurs... more interested in those that work for blue chip or name companies.
I'm not sure if that is entirely true. I work for a small, public biotech company and have entrepreneurial goals, but I was fortunate enough to be interviewed. Wharton has a strong entrepreneurial program, but I think it's always a matter of fit; for example, I've received interviews from from Stanford and Wharton, but was rejected without interview from Columbia (Hence, I, or my profile, didn't fit very well at Columbia).
So it's probably not because of your entrepreneurial goals, but rather because of other fit issues. I'm sure you are academically really qualified, but 2 years in this process has taught me 1 thing: it's almost never about the stats.
