I instantly regret reading these last few posts... but i'm not sold that it's an indicator just yet. Could be lots of reasons. Plus, PBateman is clearly a stud, so if he doesn't have it, i'm not too worried yet.

No extra checkboxes for me either.
The theory is probably right, given the labels of the checkboxes.

Crap.

Never mind ... I was able to get in and ... no addtl checkboxes. Based on what I am reading that spells game over.

Oh well - will wait for Friday for confirmation or a pleasant surprise.

on your MyWharton page, do you guys see a checklist with 5 things?
- Create a myWharton MBA Account
- Application Submitted
- Recommendations Received
- Transcript
- ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

according to BW forums some people have the last 2 checkboxes some don't

Mine only has three and the last one isn't even checked.... Hope its not bad news...

Crap.

When I try logging into MyWharton and then clicking on check status it redirects me to the applyyourself site.

Don't click check status. It's on the front page itself, top right corner.

It appears no one on the GC forum has received the 5 boxes yet.
Appx 4 people on BW have confirmed they have received 5 boxes.
Yield is to low to be meaningful/significant (4 out of 20-30)?

I think it's suspect....

That's a great sign for you and an awful sign for the rest of us.

I hope so... The numbers don't add up. I'm sure there's a lot of cross-pollination between the 2 forums but it's interesting that the only people who have received the 5 mystery boxes are posting (almost) exclusively on the other forum.

Considering the # of highly competent people on this forum who will likely be admitted, I think either a) the "5 boxes phenomenon" is either BS or meaningless or b) if it truly means something a lot more of us will get good news by the end of the week.

Folks, no responses tonight, short of adcom coming on here and explaining, will do anything to alleviate the stress.

Just assume that, at best, those check boxes mean nothing, and at worst, it does equal an admit, but that their IT people haven't updated the whole system yet. It's still over a day away from an official update of the system for your decision.

I like that. "3 boxes" can now be the new "ding"/

Usage: I got 3 boxed by Chicago Booth today.

Catchy.

4 boxes, GREAT. The wait continues.

Do we know how many people typically get a 5th box added in later rounds?
