No confirmation emails though!?!? Did anyone receive one?

Nope, neither did my recommenders!

Assuming it's the same as rd 1, you should expect an email from them within the next week or so, detailing the interview invitation schedule and mid-decision date.

As for recommendations, if it says "submitted" on the ApplyYourself home page, it's in. No need to stress over getting the confirmation email.

Good luck guys!

WHEW. Wharton in an hour ago. Now for a final 24-hour sprint for Chicago and Stanford.

Is anyone else filled with eleventh-hour resentment that some of these schools ask for SO.MUCH.INFO - even outside of the essays? Sheesh.

The one thing I've noticed, in my delirium, is that somehow Stanford makes it seem like they're asking all these questions because they really care about getting to know you, you wonderful glowy worldchanger you.

In contrast, I felt like Wharton was grillin' me because they are a bag of cold... hammers. (I am actually thinking of a different word but I'm going to go with: hammers.)

Is it because Stanford put those pretty pictures at the top of their app? Oooooh, palm treeeeees.

If the submission time is a little more (5:04) than the deadline (5:00). Would it still be considered in Round 2?

Is there somewhere on the site to check if the submitted app is being reviewed for Round 2 or not?

Just got the email from Wharton with info for Round 2. Looks exactly like the R1 email, but figured I would share anyway. Let the countdown to January 26, then February 18, then (hopefully) March 26, begin!!!

Here's the text:

Thank you for submitting your application for Round Two.

The following will provide you with information concerning the processing of application materials, timeline for the release of interview invitations, and final decision releases.

If your online account reads "Complete - Round Two," your application has all the required materials, has been processed by the Operations Team, and has been forwarded to the Committee for review.

If your online account reads "Received," then the Operations Team needs to process your online application submission and any materials submitted by hard copy. After your materials have been processed (assuming they arrived before the Round Two deadline), your online account will be changed to "Complete for Round Two" and your file will be forwarded to the Committee for review. Due to the high number of candidates who submitted their application during the past few days (more than 60% of candidates applying for Round Two submitted their application within 24 hours of the deadline), it will take the Operations Team a few weeks to complete the processing of all materials. Therefore, please allow the Operations Team until Thursday, January 28th before inquiring about the completeness of your application.

The Admissions Committee will begin to release interview invitations on Tuesday, January 26th and will continue to release invitations on a daily basis until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, February 18th. Due to the nature and complexity associated with the admissions process there is no particular order in which invitations are released. Also on February 18th, the Committee will release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission.

If you are invited for an interview, you will need to complete your interview by Thursday, March 11th. Interviews will be available on campus with second-year Wharton MBA Students who are full members of the Admissions Committee, off campus with alumni, and off campus in various "Hubs" around the world by Admissions staff members. All interview options are equally considered within the admissions process.

Candidates who are offered an interview will receive their final admissions decision by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, March 26th.

Thank you again for applying to Wharton. We look forward to reading your application.

Sincerely,

Wharton MBA Admissions Committee
Lauder Admissions Committee
