I hear ya. I got the same deal here with gmail notifier. And then it turns out to be my octogenerian Transylvanian grandmother sending me a powerpoint about "great bridges of Holland" or dirty French cartoons or the life of sculptor Brancusi... narrated in Catalan. Thanks, grandma.

I have a few questions for those already interviewed or admitted by Wharton ... In fact, I have the same questions for almost all schools I applied to or am applying to. I would like to eventually make a separate thread with this info (maybe with a little chart).

. interview notification date: Jan/26 - Feb-18
. interview scheduling/date: what is the earliest/latest one could schedule the interview after receiving the notification?
. interview scheduling/location: is it possible to choose among different geographical locations? (I understand for Wharton scheduling is done online)
. commitment deposit amount: ?
. commitment deposit due date: ?

For me it all goes down to timing and location. I am in Buenos Aires, travel a lot internationally, and have a hectic schedule. I hope to have flexibility as far as scheduling goes. Additionally, I have applied to four schools in the US, and will be applying to three schools in the EU ... timing for EU schools is different (eg, there's an important gap between Wharton-R2 and Insead-JanR1). Of the seven schools listed on my profile, only CBS and LBS are backups ... so, assuming that all schools accept me, my plan is to pay the deposit of one US school and wait until I get the results from EU schools and/or I can make up my mind.

You know what, waiting for the results of my CFA exams was not as nerve wracking as this. They gave you a date and a time for the results. Done. There were no interim dates of importance. And certainly none that would encompass a span of weeks. Alas, such is the fate we have chosen.

But I must say, this feeling of constantly oscillating between acceptance and rejection, with no real way of knowing when the dial stops, is exhilarating. Every second that passes accelerates the pace of the blood traversing my body. Awesome! :twisted:

Now back to work. :roll:

In fact, I propose a moratorium on posts in this thread until that happens, as I keep on getting emails from GMAT club telling me "new posts in Wharton thread" and then I have to stop what I am doing to see if anyone got an interview!

Also (edit: since no one has posted since I did) - in order to help pass the time I will be taking the Jeopardy test tonight. Speaking of which I got the Final Jeopardy answer right when no one on the show did - maybe I can talk about that if I get an interview!
