branson: what are you going to "major" in? is Haas or Kellogg your top choice?

trojan and toploader: DON'T give up! Haas W/L is famous for being easy to get off, upwards of 50% (though this year might be lower with the upped app volume). Just follow the instructions they send you and most likely you'll get off, if you really want to go to Haas. :)

kryzak, 1/2 tuition scholarship at Haas? Holy crap! So happy for ya~! You totally deserve it.

Da Da Ding! Here :-D . This ends my application season. Overall, I am happy! I got into my first choice, Ross, and with $20K per year to boot. No complaints.

Well just got into the office and had an email waiting for me. Waitlisted after an interview...obviously I was hoping for an acceptance but better than a ding. I certainly will continue to express my interest in the program. Guess it's time to start calling back up recommenders. Any recommended posts on getting off the waitlist?? Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

I'm wondering if I should take a place on the waitlist, knowing I have a place at Sloan.

A belated CONGRATS to GMATclub's celebrity of celebrities, Kryzak! Likewise, a big up to branson (who I actually know in person here in Munich - and who I intend to be drinking Tegernseer Helles with soon) and the rest of the R1 admits. For those who were dinged, it sure sounds like you've got some fantastic options in front of you. I'd wish you luck, but you're not going to need it (but good luck anyway :-D ).

There are quite a few of us on here who got waitlisted... frankly, I'm rather ecstatic about a waitlist w/o interview as I had given up hope long ago. My career plan, as outlined in my essays, is more than a little off the beaten path. I figured if any school would appreciate what I had to say, it would be Berkeley.

@ waitlisted applicants - PM me. I think we're better off working on behalf of one another than against each other. I'm more than happy to share my strategies from here on out and would love to get some feedback from those of you in the same boat. Let's do this!

Toploader and others, definitely let me know how I can help you with W/L. I don't know how much access I get as an admitted student, but since the janitor's mother knows me quite well, I can ask her to snoop around for info for you guys! The goal is to get as many GMATClubbers in as possible! :) (and form a "West Coast Posse" to rival the Chi-Town one :P)
