No mention in the call about money, but that lasted only 30 seconds or so, between my impossibly sore throat and the adcom's obvious desire to move on to the 10K calls she still had to make.

I really hope I can get some serious money from Chicago, both because I badly need it and because it would make the decision easier*. In the end, I will have a boxe match between terp26 and riverripper to have a decision. Proceeds will help me funding my education.

nink, I do support Juventus F.C., so consider me a Manchester U. archrival!

Walker, my congratulations. It's superbly deserved.

* no, it would not. Kellogg is awesome as well.

haha... well, i still haven't gotten in. i am confused about why he didn't simply say "you've been admitted". he asked me to call him back.

i gave up for tactical reasons... i gave up on an interview from Wharton like the day before the mid-decision date and got invited that day. the next day, i gave up on stanford and i received an invite.

he just called back, i am in! and with $40K

No "giving up" at lunch time for cryin' out loud! :) They have a lots of calls to make--they'll be on it for awhile I'm sure. They might even make some calls tomorrow morning.
