I live in downtown Chicago so logistically it will be easy for me to get settled in. All I asked for was a 2 week notice for work....i told them August 31st.

Thanks for the insight. I'm in Chicago as well, but can't wait as long due to the possibility of moving for another program... Would love to stay here and go to Booth if given the opportunity! Congrats again!

I did...and I kept following up with one particular admissions person there in order to develop some rapport. I was also able to get letters of support from a few hedge fund principles who graduated from Booth, which, may/may not have helped.

What do you guys think? Do you think that is it for movement after the second deposits for R1 and R2 or do you think there is potential for more activity?

Hey fellas - First time poster; I started reading this board (and this thread) circa one year ago. I too received the thumbs up today. For what it's worth, I only sent in one (brief) update after being waitlisted in R2.

Same here! I got a call today, been waitlisted since R2. I submitted 1 update and asked 2 current students and 1 alumni to submit additional recommendations for me. Not sure if that helped, but I'm just glad this happened!

Congrats to all who received acceptances! 5 on one forum is a pretty good hit rate at this point in the process. My guess is that is it for offers for now. How long do you all have to send in your deposits? I'm going to keep waiting with the realization that I'm probably going to have to rely on my backup plan...

I haven't received any additional information besides an email saying my status had changed. Has anyone received any information about deposits etc?
