Any precedent from previous years where applicants have received invites towards the fag end inspite of submitting and completing early? My odds are worsening by the minute and hence such questions :(

I give up. I've gotten fat, and started breaking out everywhere (yes, very superficial). not sure if it was worth it

Got an invite at 9:06 AM today. I've got to say the wait was stressful but worth it.

I got my interview invite too. And I submitted on the due date. So there doesn't seem to be a great deal of correlation between submission date and interview request date.

Had my interview yesterday. Typical questions.

Why MBA? Why now?
What draws you to Chicago?
How would you describe your leadership style?
Tell me about a time when (fill in the blank with teamwork/leadership questions)
Where else are you applying?
Is there anything you want to add to your file that you forgot/didn't have a chance to submit in your app?

I had my interview as well. Here is the debrief:

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. My interviewer was an EVP of a large-cap US PE shop. He had read my resume ahead of time and, while he had specific questions about my resume, the interview was casual.

His questions were as follows:

1) Tell my why you chose your undergraduate degree
2) Tell me about your extracurriculars
3) Tell me why you chose your first job
4) Tell me why you left
5) Tell me about your industry
6) Tell me what challenges you have faced in your new role
7) Tell me why Chicago Booth

One big thing that made a difference was the energy level he brought. In one of my other interviews, I brought a high degree of energy that my interviewer did not match. Conseqeuntly, we did not build a good rapport.

Overall, a good experience. Booth was kind enough to allow me to provide feedback (which was positive). Again, cheers to Booth (unless they don't let me in - then jeers).

I submitted my application, including recommendations, on Oct 13rd, and recieved "complete" only on the 25th. Someone who is familier with the addmision process has any idea why it taken them so long?
