Blood bath or no blood bath, I have a general question. Before writing any essay, I try to fathom the nature of the school. For the multiple times I visited Booth , I felt like this is one school where 'intellectually curious' guys will be looked at. As coming from that Indian IT Male pool and with one rather weak GMAT for that pool, I tried to show my intellectual side in all those essays(Like paper publication for magazine of Chicago Art Institute, a regular column in one Indian movie-blog portal etc) more than usual professional experince. Do you guys think that was a boomerang? Please answer me as for all the other schools, I would try to stick to more professional experience--achievement kind of stuffs. Thanks for your help.
