Tired and brain dead … below are some stupid thoughts …
Gmatclub should open a betting house so that applicants can hedge their bets … Procedures are as follow:
1. An applicant that is applying to Chicago Booth R1 will submit his full application to the Gmatclub Betting Services (GBS)
2. GBS will calculate the odds and provide the candidate with betting odds against the candidate’s chances for an interview and/or acceptance.
3. An applicant will be able to bet against himself, and in the case of a ding, he/she will receive cash rewards.
Example:
Candidate A has GMAT of 780, 3.9 GPA from Harvard, great work experience etc. GBS will determine that his odds of receiving an interview are high, therefore for a $1000 bet, the candidate will receive $3500 if the he did not receive an interview.
I am ready to bet $250 against myself at this point … LOL.
