I feel awful right now. Not getting this interviewed really makes me wonder if I have a chance at ANY of my other schools. I figured I'd at least get an interview, now I'm wondering if I'm done everywhere I applied...this is not good.

Have to agree with billjeans. As someone who felt the same way until about 2 hours ago. I would have to say that not getting an invite was taking my focus away from my STERN apps. But then I realised I wasnt applying to any schools I didnt want to get in to, so I started to refocus yesterday and I think my essays 1 and 3 are shaping up (2 still sucks btw).

Don't ever let one school dictate you chances at other schools. As someone who managed to get dinged from Ross and waitlist at Kellogg, there is no way you can tell what happens behind the scenes. You could have just had one bad reviewer and that was it.

One GC'er last year got Dings R2 from Kellogg/NYU yet got H/W R3. Go figure

Thanks GoBruins and everyone else. I just noticed we have the exact same long term goals (airlines/aerospace). Any chance you'd want to take a look at a few of my essays i've already submitted and give me some advice for those i'm writing for R2? I'd obviously love to be able to return the favor.

Please donot think like that. Because that is not true. After getting LBS ding without interview, even i was thinking that i am doomed in other schools.

Couldn't have asked for a better first mail... I just got the news....

My inbox also must have skipped a beat... Am formally an i/v candidate for booth...

Seems like the number of invites thus far has been relatively lower... any comments?

is the feeling that the majority of invites are out? so whoever still has a "Complete" status is pretty much dinged?

If it helps anyone who's still holding hope, I just got an interview request. Regretfully, I submitted my application on the last possible minute (11:59pm cst) on the last date so I figured that it would take a while for a posting on my account. I was told that they would still send out decisions until tomorrow so there's plenty of time remaining.

Right up until I received the request I was completely heartbroken because this is my 3rd attempt to get into Chicago. Anyone still holding out keep your head up there's still plenty of time left! :-D

I think booth is the traditional 50/50 rule. 50% get interviews and 50% of those get admitted. Matriculation is around 55-60% I believe.

Alright everyone. Have been stalking these forums without registering, and have decided to throw my hat in. Some really excellent feedback and people on here.

Anyway, got my Chicago Interview invite today. Pretty stoked about it, as I had pretty much resigned myself to not getting one.
