sorry to break the flow of thought here guys. I am an R2 applicant. I'd like to know if Booth has an international immersion experience program that takes mba kids to other nations like Wharton's WIVP or GMIX in Stanford? I'm aware of one.... the trip that is part of 'Emerging Markets' club.... any others?? Something that would not require a student to STUDY abroad but just spend some time there ..... say doing community dev, etc.
Yeah, they definitely have a pretty wide assortment of international trips, which are called "random walks" at Booth. This link should plug you in to this years' trips... I've heard they're pretty awesome.
How do I stop myself from checking this page every minute?

that sounds even more distractive

"distractive"? Are you sure that's a word?
Anyway, hi everyone, just adding to the woe spam, giving it a global flavour (Australia). I find out later than everyone else... sort of - well when I'm asleep on Wednesday night, and you are all enjoying your Wednesday. I know others are waiting for Stanford (Wednesday) and Harvard (Tuesday) so it's sure to be a busy and soul destroying week.
"So you sit there and wait for the phone to ring. When are they gonna call? Are they ever gonna call you at all? But then oh - things could be marvellous. Things could be fabulous..."
Guys, have been a silent reader so far, decided to write my first post. Waiting for R1 result, don't know if Booth will call applicants in India, its already 6:30pm here..
Haha thanks for showing the love dude - my "stats" are not weak but certainly mundane for this school. Like I said before, everyone here has great academics and solid WE. We've all delivered solid applications because we got interviews. And we all worked our nuts off to prepare for those interviews.
The 780 GMAT cancer curers are in the same boat as the 650 GMAT hail maries right now. It's a coin flip! I'm obviously hoping for a great result but I'm rooting for the rest of you gmatclub dudes too. As they say here in Italy, buon fortuna...
