Was your friend a domestic applicant by any chance? Because if I’m not wrong they do rolling evaluations for domestic applicants, and they accumulate international applications till the deadline of a round before evaluating them. Either way it usually takes a week to get a response since they have so many emails coming in nowadays. Let me know if you get any response! And best of luck

Because if I’m not wrong they do rolling evaluations for domestic applicants, and they accumulate international applications till the deadline of a round before evaluating them. I have received my acceptance, had submitted my application in October 2020 and received an interview call on Feb 6th and offer letter by 18th.

They are taking quite sometime but will eventually revert, hope this helps!

Hi I actually differed my admission last year However application wise I applied last year when they said international application was almost full.
