My friend...if you haven't got any rejection yet...then you are lucky...the future (tomorrow) is bright for you...

I got a reject mail...very generic...couldn't understand what to improve or what went wrong...

My brother is an INSEAD alum...I saw one guy who posted his sister & cousins were INSEAD alums....I wonder INSEAD now plans to take on education impartiality ... :lol: and strictly no offence intended ... !

Not too spoil everyone's optimism, but I think you're being completely incorrect! Interview invites is a very positive signal, but no guarantee even if you do well (INSEAD mentions explicitly that they evaluate your whole file after interviews - not just the interviews) personally I got waitlisted.

Regardless best of luck too all R2 applications in your interviews.

It it just my IMHO talking to several aspirants, I personally feel that for INSEAD the interview acceptance rate is above 50%, while for Stanford, for example, it is much less than 50%.
But the information from Prodigy is their direct reply :)

I agree with you, I think chances if you're invited for interview are much higher at INSEAD than many other schools - still I thought Id make the clarification not too build too high expectations amongst alle the aspirants - some (unfortunately) are going to be disappointed despite doing great interviews :)

I think that makes INSEAD's acceptance process unique is high value of recommendations. INSEAD don't see your CV, so any pearls in your work history they can get either from essays or through recommendors/interviews.

Nope. Just the generic email that everybody seems to be getting. I thought I had a decent shot because I have strong acads (rank holder from India's best commerce college) and good workex in two of world's best financial companies. Also had realistic career goals. Tough Luck. There seem to be some real great people out there applying to INSEAD!
