Returned home dejected last night thinking its last day has to be a ding but was pleasantly surprised to see an interview invite. I am Mumbai based. Does anyone know how long does it usually take for them to schedule an interview.

Has anyone with extensive international experience been rejected? It seems as though they focus more on the "internationalness" of applicants that anything else.

btw, got my interview notice on the last day. phew! Looks like there were a ton of qualified candidates. I feel honored to have been allowed to proceed to the next phase of the interview process. I will my work cut out for me in my interview, that's for sure. Good luck to all!

With a GMAT of 750, you're clearly not less qualified (at least on the issue of academic aptitude) than any other candidates. You shouldn't feel honored to move forward in the proceess - sounds like you deserve it!

The deadline is 20 January, but they usually accomodate extension requests, so if I were you, I would count on movements in the first week of February.

per INSEAD admissions website, competition is almost equal in all three rounds. Only 20% of the merit/need based scholarships are available for round 3.

I am applying to round 3, not for the scholarship though. Researching/writing essays at the moment.

Can any of the admitted students please post the country breakdown from MBAConnect (for J13)? Thanks in advance.

Does INSEAD accommodate request for extension in the deposit deadline? I have been traveling and have just returned home, and now the bank is telling me that it will take at least 10 working days to make the wire transfer. Also my UG transcripts have not arrived. I will have to fly out to my UG university and fetch the transcript personally!!

They'll try to find a person in your city. If you can - do it in person.
Bear in mind that if you blow any of two interview, you're in... for other schools admission forum, so with INSEAD you need to make 2 great shots.

I read various sources, and everyone mentions that the way INSEAD set interviews is one will be rather pleasant and the second is tough. I thought my experience will be different, but I was mistaken
