Got the mail from Insead confirming my application consideration for R1 Sep12. 4th November is the latest date by which we should hear from INSEAD.

I forgot the tick the 'Optional Recommendation' link on Sept 28. Realized only today when I checked the status page. I hope INSEAD considers my application for R1. Rest of the application material was submitted before the 28 September deadline. hmmmm

any idea how soon the interview invites start going out?

I think INSEAD should start rolling out the invites by this month end... But the number of applicants in R1 seem to be quite low. Any reasons? May be a lot of us have not updated the table...I am comparing this with previous J12 thread

I still have not received a 'Confirmation email' from INSEAD which mentions that an applicant's file is complete and is ready for review. I am getting worried now.... hmmm.... Also wrote to INSEAD regarding this, submitted on 28 Sept (forgot to tick the optional recommendation letter box, ticked it on 1 Oct.)

LSEguy - You should contact INSEAD for that immediately. I got the below email on Sept 30th. And to my knowledge, one should get this email within 1 to 3 days from the submission date. There is no harm in just calling the regular number and making sure that they have received the application and that they will respond soon. I am pleased to inform you that I have received your application package and will be your primary contact during the Admissions Process. I have thoroughly checked the elements you sent and I am happy to confirm your file is now complete and ready to be reviewed for Round 1 on the September 2012 intake. ** As per our Staged Admissions dates, 4 November 2011 is the latest date by which you should hear from us. @talk2vj: thank you very much for your response. I got in touch with INSEAD regarding this issue. However, they have told me to wait a little while longer to get the confirmation mail, and that there is nothing to worry about. Thank you once again and best of luck!
