Yeah, those of us in FS are getting a raw deal. I know it's no ones fault and there is nothing to blame really, but the competition in the FS demographic is ridiculous this year. I would not be surprised to see 2-3x the number of FS applicants for a constant number of FS seats. It's pretty annoying for folks who have been planning and preparing to apply this year for a number of years and just happened to have the bad luck of applying in the midst of the credit crisis. It's easy to say "go get 'em next year," but next year will probably be even worse.

In R1 ApplyYourself accounts were updated late Thursday morning on the east coast... I wanna say around 11 AM EST, but I don't definitively remember.

That said, given current limbo I have no idea :(

International calls started going out a few minutes ago (not me, I am in the U.S.). Good luck everyone. I guess it will all be over by tomorrow...

I guess he started calling in the U.S. too, according to the BW forum. Someone from Dallas got the call along with ~5 internationals from all over the world. I guess he is probably done or close to done in the U.S. for the night, but it's hard to imagine that he is completely done in the U.S. and only one BW reader got in. I really wish that these schools would just post an annoucement on their websites to let people know what is going on.

No one from GMATclub has gotten the call?! It seems like only about a dozen people on BW have gotten the call. I have to think there will be at least 200 admits in R2, so it seems like there is more to come. Perhaps they will start calling again in a little while. I am going nuts here.

I am fruitlessly trying to work this morning! Mainly just reading emails and not processing much. To me, it seemed much more than 12 reported receiving calls on BW...not good.

I just hope they update our status before lunch.

It may have been closer to two dozen, but it didn't seem like that many to me. Around half of them were internationals. I hardly saw anyone from the west coast.
