sudden, wow, very best of luck to you, you applied to tough schools in a tough year, but I'm still hoping you'll get into one of those (especially Stanford!)
elha, dude, you have an amazing profile, and if Stanford dings you, again, it's their loss (you might not feel that way now, and I know that feeling, but eventually, you should come to realize Wharton is a great school to get into and that Stanford is just too picky for their own good). As for reapplying, to be brutally honest with you, I think it's silly. Next year all the admissions directors I spoke with (2 of them) said the application volume will go up again, and Stanford is probably already at 6-7% this year, and HBS will only drop. I don't know how much either likes reapplicants, especially if the applicants haven't done something amazingly new from now till R1 deadlines (you only have 6 months to save a country
). You have Wharton in your pocket, and it's in the coveted H/S/W triad (even if it's always third), you'll never have a problem with most places you go to in the future.
But yeah, all this is moot when you get your call from DB, so don't worry!

I was a stanford undergrad but wanted to throw our how jealous I am that some of you may be in Palo Alto this year!!!
Don't know if you'd heard but the MBAs have a club called FOAM (friend of archie miller) and alumni donate to it. The funding is used as a bar tab and the club usually invites KKGs (my sorority) to hang out with them. Tons of fun.
